Novice LL White, 2018-2019 (East Lambton Minor Hockey)

The team had a great showing in Paisley this weekend at the Arran-Elderslie Novice LL Tournament. We had a record of 1-1-1 in the round robin stage --> Winning 6-0 vs Bruce Peninsula, 0-0 vs the host AEMHA, and losing 2-0 to Walkerton. After landing 3rd in our division we got to play in the Consolation Finals and repeated the victory against Bruce Peninsula with a score of 6-1! Excellent effort by all.  The coaches are excited to see this display of hardwork entering the playoffs vs North Middlesex and Dorchester. 

The schedule has been posted for the Dresden Tournament running Feb 1-3. This should be a great chance for our team to have some competitive games against teams closely matched with our own. Game 1 kicks off at 1200 Friday vs the home centre Dresden --> we are 1-1 against them. Time to see who the better team is...GO EAGLES!

An exhibition game is scheduled for this Saturday January 5th in Dresden at 4:20-5:35pm. With an hour and 15min it will likely be a full length game and it is a great opportunity for a competitive game for our Novice LL White team. We lost 3-2 to them in the Lambton Shores Silver Stick - time for some revenge! Coach Travis (I am hoping to make it, but may still be in Port Huron at my oldest sons Silver Stick Tournament..so Tim will be taking the reigns).

Just fyi, Lucan did not have enough players for the game Dec.18th. We will now be having practice Dec.18th from 6:30-7:30pm. Please let me know if you can not make it. Thanks - Travis
