PENALTY BOX

As in the past it is the responsibility of the team to run the time clock and penalty box. If you are unable to work your shift please find a replacement.  See attached schedule - Copy_of_clock_2017-18

Please review the contact sheet I have attached to confirm the information is correct. If I do not have all your information please forward to me. I will do a lot of the communicating with the boys through text messages as well as with the parents.

TOURNAMENT

We are booked in the Langton Tournament November 17-19.

The Bestwestern Little River Inn in Simcoe has blocked a group of rooms for us. You will need to call and book your rooms before October 17, 2017.

Rates - $135.99 for 1 night

$125.99/night if booking 2 nights

Cost of tournament is $850. Cost per player will be determined once ELMHA has confirmed funding.

WATER BOTTLES

We would like to ask each player to bring their own water bottle to the games/practice. Please have their name or number on the bottle.

JERSEYS

Each player will be responsible for their jerseys. Please ensure they are put in garment bag and NOT in their hockey bag! If the jerseys are not returned in the same shape your $300 volunteer cheque will be cashed.

ALVINSTON FAIR

The team has been asked again to help with clean up on the Sunday of the fair. The team will receive tournament funding for this. Players are to be at the Alvinston arena/fairgrounds Sunday Oct 1 at 4pm to assist in cleanup.

CELL PHONES

Just a reminder to the boys – there is no cell phone use in the dressing rooms. Please remind your sons about this.
