Volunteer Position: Silverstick Ad Collection
The Alvinston Silverstick is looking for 3 volunteers to complete their advertisement collection. These positions will be worth all 3 of your volunteer credits.

Please reach out to Julie Aarts ([email protected]and Julia Swan ([email protected]) if interested. This will be filled on a first come basis.

Volunteers Needed for Silver Stick Advertisement Collection

Alvinston U11 Silver Stick Committee is looking for 3 volunteers to collect advertisements for the program for the upcoming Silver Stick tournament Dec 4-7, 2025. Advertisement collection will be divided up into 3 separate areas, with each volunteer being responsible for businesses on the lists that will be provided. Here are the following expectations for this volunteer position:

● You need to physically go to the businesses to collect the ads. Phone calls and emails are not enough and business owners like it when they can see the person face to face.

● Keep track of your contact with the businesses. It’s important to know if they are interested in advertising as well as any changes to their advertisements.

● If businesses would like to change any information in their ad, they can email all changes to [email protected] and it will be dealt with accordingly.

● Be respectful. You are representing Silver Stick and need to be polite and professional when talking to business owners.

● If the job is not done as outlined by the Silver Stick committee instructions given, you will not receive full credits.

● The deadline for advertisement collection will be Thursday Nov 20. This includes following up with businesses with any changes and payment.

● If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact Julia Swan at [email protected]
