Local League Coaching Applications Now Open
Coaching Applications are now open for our U9,11,13,15 and 18 Local League Teams and our U7 teams.  

Local League Coaches Application


For our younger age groups, we are looking for:
U7: 4 coaches (Coach 1 certified and VSC approved)
U9: 3 coaches (Coach 1 certified and VSC approved)

For U7 teams to be rostered and able to play games, we require all 4 coaches to be certified, VSC approved and rostered. Without these volunteers, our U7 players will not be able to participate in games this season. 

If you're passionate about hockey and ready to make a difference for our young players, we encourage you to apply.

Optimist Club of Alvinston Districts started in 1978. We are a group of 65 strong. We help the youth of our community in many ways as possible (team sports, youth dances, literacy programs, HOBY, VIP programs and more). We have donated time and money towards such community improvement such as the library, playground equipment, baseball diamonds and a sports park. In the future, wish to add more community projects to that list. We are committed to our community and the youth within.
