Thanks to All who Supported Hockey Fights Cancer Weekend
Thank you to all those Eagle Families and Friends who supported our Hockey Fights Cancer Events this past weekend in Support of Coach Zakk. This weekend we showed that hockey is about so much more than just the game; it is about being a community and coming together when one of our own is in need of support.



Our community showed this Friday night at the East Lambton U15B/U18B Games. We were able to raise $2400 in donations for the Gurchin family. A huge thank you as well to WMHA (Wallaceburg Minor Hockey) for being part of this night. Your generous donation to Zakk and his family was very much appreciated by our team.  

A big thanks as well to the Alvinston Killer Bees for putting on a wonderful event Saturday night and helping raise $15,500.00 for the Gurchin Family.

Alvinston Optimist Club
Optimist Club of Alvinston Districts started in 1978. We are a group of 65 strong. We help the youth of our community in many ways as possible (team sports, youth dances, literacy programs, HOBY, VIP programs and more). We have donated time and money towards such community improvement such as the library, playground equipment, baseball diamonds and a sports park. In the future, wish to add more community projects to that list. We are committed to our community and the youth within.
