Special Thanks
At the Banquet you may have noticed that we had to replace a few of the existing trophies. We would like to thank the Alvinston Optimist, Watford Optimist and Dwyane and Sara Ayris who all contributed to the purchase of these new trophies (Bill Swan Goalie, Most Dedicated Defense and Coach of the Year). As we close out the season, we would also like to thank all our business sponsors that help to keep the cost of our minor hockey down each year for all the kids. We would also like to thank the Watford and Alvinston Silverstick and Armstrong Foundation for their gracious donations as well. We are grateful for all out Community Support.

Alvinston Optimist Club
Optimist Club of Alvinston Districts started in 1978. We are a group of 65 strong. We help the youth of our community in many ways as possible (team sports, youth dances, literacy programs, HOBY, VIP programs and more). We have donated time and money towards such community improvement such as the library, playground equipment, baseball diamonds and a sports park. In the future, wish to add more community projects to that list. We are committed to our community and the youth within.
