In this difficult
time, it is with great regret that we must inform our members of a technical
error that led to the unintentional withdrawal of the first installment payment
on July 27th.
Last month, under the direction of OMHA, we entered the Hockey Canada
administration site to cancel the installment dates and saved those changes,
thinking that this would delay payments for everyone until we had more
information about the upcoming season. Unfortunately, it seems that this change
was not applied and that each individual registrant account needed to be
accessed to make cancellation of upcoming payments. Therefore, moving forward, ELMHA is now currently holding the original $50 deposit, and the value (some choose to pay the full remaining balance, while others choose a partial payment option) of the first installment, in trust, on behalf of each of our members. If any member prefers a refund, please contact ELMHA president, Adam MacKellar, at 519-318-4463 or [email protected] to make these arrangements. The remaining balance (2nd installment), which was originally scheduled to be paid out in late August, has been cancelled and will be rescheduled once OMHA gives ELMHA direction to resume hockey operations.
It was not the intention of ELMHA to cause this unexpected financial stressor.
