Face-Off For Mental Health
Each year on our Minor Hockey Day we focus on Face Off For Mental Health. A wonderful initiative spearheaded by some spectacular people St. Clair Child & Youth Services.
Through this, our kids are being taught to feel comfortable at the rink by knowing and understanding that their coaching staff, their teammates and all parents are aware that our mental health is just as important as our physical health. If anyone needs someone to talk to, we are all available to listen and help! As a show of support for FOFMH, each player & goalie wraps up their stick with green tape.
A booth, with our Eagles parent representative, Theresa Kersey, will be in the auditorium all day. The booth is filled with some take home information and some fun activities for the kids to partake in. Take some time to speak with Theresa, she is a wonderful advocate for children’s Mental Health and would be pleased to see you on November 2nd!
Way to go Eagles!
