Minor Hockey Day - November 2, 2019
If you haven’t marked your calendars already, please note that November 2nd - 8am to 10pm is our Eagles Minor Hockey Day! This year, the pride filled event will be held at the Alvinston & Inwood arena. More information about when your child’s team is playing will be given to you by your teams coaching staff closer to the day.

MHD is a day filled with our Eagles hockey. Every single team is scheduled to play a game over the course of 14 hours. It’s the perfect time to invite grandparents, great grandparents, aunts, uncles and friends to come see the children play. The auditorium will be filled with games for the kids. A delicious meal, prepared by our East Lambton Hockey Mom’s is offered for each hockey player after their game. Pancakes for the morning teams & pasta for the afternoon! Each team will organize and donate an awesome raffle prize for all to participate in, along with 50/50 draws, a fabulously fun Chuck-a-Puck event and a wonderful opportunity to help stock the shelves of both Watford and Alvinston’s food banks by bringing canned goods in replace of an entrance fee. We’ll also have our cool black & gold Eagles t’s for grabs along with Eagles small & large stickers and pins too!

Like last year, both Herm’s Sport Exchange and Silverpeak Photography will be set up for families to take advantage of amazing Eagle Spirit Wear and truly creative photo montages of the kids. We recommend that not only parents, but Grandparents, aunts and uncles visit these booths too! What an opportunity to start some Christmas shopping!!! The ever important Face Off For Mental Health booth will also be set up. Please take some time to visit this booth while walking around the auditorium. There are always great learning opportunities and fun things for the kids to participate in. Each ELMHA coach will have an opportunity to talk to their players about the importance of mental health and as in years passed, each player will have been given green tape to wrap their stick in as a wonderful sign of support for St. Clair Child & Youth FOFMH awareness and their spectacular efforts. Let’s show our Eagles what pride looks & feels like by packing the house for the games and celebrating the day away in true Eagles style!!!

A special “Thanks you” goes out to our ELMHA Hockey Mom’s for supporting MHD with such great planning and organization!
