The Atom, Peewee, and Bantam rep teams are all 2018-2019 Regional
Silver Stick Champions!
The Peewee team got things started, before Christmas, winning
their championship game in Watford against the West Lorne Comets.
The Atom Rep team capped off any exciting tournament
defeating the Belmont Rangers to bring home the Alvinston Atom Silver Stick
title.
The Bantam team, also competing at Watford, defeated the
Dresden Jr. Kings in their championship game.
The Novice Rep team was a finalists at the Parkhill Regional Novice Silver Stick Tournament, falling to the Port Stanley Sailors in the championship game.
The Midget Rep team, playing at the Petrolia Regional Tournament, were eliminated in the quarter finals to the eventual champion Six Nations Blackhawks.
Each of our three championship teams will compete at the 2019 International Silver Stick Finals which will take place in the upcoming weeks in the neighbouring community of Forest, Ontario. The Peewee tournament takes place January 11-13, while the Atom and Bantam tournament will take place January 25-27. We hope to see many ELMHA fans out to support our fellow Eagles!
