New Gender Equality Course - Required for all Coaches
Hockey Canada has made it mandatory for all coaches to complete a new course on gender equality.
This online course must be completed before anyone can be put on an official roster. This course is good for life. At this point the course is free to take. It is encouraged that all adults that are interested in coaching at any point or are helping in anyway with minor hockey take this course while it is free. This will bring you to your ehockey sign in. Sign into your account and click sign up for a course. Pick your name and scroll down to the list of courses. Choose the “Gender Equality Course” “Online Course” The course is free at this time, but you have to go through the checkout process as if you had to pay. After the checkout process, there is a link at the right side of the screen to access the 2 modules for the course itself. Each module must be completed to be allowed on a roster this year.
