FYI: World Junior Showcase in Detroit - Timothy Liljegren, Nolan Patrick, and More
Hey Eagles,
Interested in watching some of the best junior players in the world? We just thought we would make you aware this World Junior Showcase since it relatively close to us this year.
Canada, USA, Finland and Sweden are bringing their best young players and future NHL stars to participate in an international U20 tournament in Plymouth. The showcase will take place from July 29th to August 5th. There are 34 former NHL first round picks participating – including Maple Leafs 2017 first round pick Timothy Liljegren, Red Wings 2016 first round pick Dennis Cholowski, along with Nolan Patrick, Miro Heiskanen and Cale Makar.
Individual tickets can be purchased at the following link: http://www.usahockeyarena.com/wjss
There is also a special offer for youth hockey teams (or any group of 15+): if you come to a game as a team/group, you get a tour of the USA Hockey facilities and can participate in a Q & A with players from the World Junior roster. This is a special opportunity to meet and ask questions to the NHL’s most elite prospects and future stars. Ticket prices start as cheap as $5 with our discounted group rate, and include general admission for 2 games and everything that was mentioned above. There is also no charge for parking prior to August 5th.
