Message from Hockey Canada Re: multiple emails

Dear Hockey Parent,
Yesterday, you may have received multiple emails regarding your hockey registration for your children or yourselves. These emails were coming from our Online Parent Registration System so if you either registered for hockey or had a pending payment this past weekend, you may have been subjected to this email blast.
I want to assure to you that this email issue DID NOT compromise your credit cards, or cause it to be charged multiple times. I also want to assure to you that all of your data is still safe and secure. The issue in question arose from a server software upgrade which was enabled despite the safeguards we had in place to protect against this.
We have fixed this issue and you shouldn’t be receiving any of these same emails multiple times anymore.
On behalf of Hockey Canada and our Board of Directors, I want to apologize directly to you for any issues this may have caused.
