In case you missed it in the
dressing room last night, we’d like all of the players who attended our final
tryout last night to attend both of our tryout exhibition games on Friday (5:30
in Watford) and Saturday (3:00 in Forest). Couple other notes...
- The final team U9-Rep roster will be posted sometime after the game on Saturday. We will have 10 skaters and one goalie on our roster, but we’ll also have AP (“affiliate”) spots for another 3-5 players and goalie.
- If you’re not familiar with how the AP system works, AP players will play and practice with their LL team as their first priority, but they will be welcome to all Rep team practices, when available. For games, during the first half of the season (half-ice), AP players will also be invited and encouraged to play in all Rep games. Then, after we switch to full-ice games, AP players may be called up to play in Rep games if we’re short-staffed due to absences. After Saturday, I’ll be reaching out directly to parents of the AP players to answer any questions.
- We need someone to run the game clock for our game tomorrow (Friday). If you’ve done it before, please let me know.
- I’d like to hold a parents meeting (Rep and AP) at 6:30 on Tuesday at the Watford arena. We will do our best to keep it between 30-45 minutes, and I’ll arrange to have a couple U15 players there to supervise ball hockey on the court behind the arena for any players that want to play around while we’re meeting (weather permitting). Just make sure they bring helmets and gloves.
