Captains and Assitant Captains
The following is information regarding selecting our Captains and Assistant Captains for this year.
"C and A Selection"
This will be a team vote. Cody and Curtis will only vote if there is a tie. Jane will hand out and count the ballots.
Everyone is free to vote as they see fit.

I could post many articles and there are many - tons of very good information. This is your decision, I really don't want to influence it. It is your responsibility - to be clear I want you to take it seriously. With responsibility comes ownership of your decision.
Should you take your responsibility to vote seriously, you have many resources available to assist you in that decision. You can Google the many hundreds of articles to assist you - you can ask people you respect and you can use your own compass to guide your decision. It is your decision.
Don't miss this responsibility - don't discount the importance of this as insignificant to the rest of the current events of this world. Many adults don't take the responsibility to vote in the many elections we have the privilege to participate in.
For what it is worth, I was involved in many votes - I often thought about it - what did it mean? Did it really matter? Was this just an opportunity to sit in the middle of the team picture? Why did some teams outperform those with better talent and coaching? Gradually I came to understand team leadership did matter, somehow success became associated with the "leader's" work ethic, leading by example, consistency and putting the team first. It does matter!
One of my favourite coach quotes is from Tom Izzo, Michigan State basketball coach; "You have a chance to win when your most talented players are the hardest working."
While this is not a federal election, choosing the leaders for a country of 30+ million, it is an election for our team. It is important to me. This is yet another opportunity to prepare yourself to be the future leaders of this community
Should you accept this responsibility, at your young age, you have proven that you are ready to embrace a right and more importantly, a responsibility, that well over 50% of the adult population shuns in this country.
This should make you a leader in your eyes - it absolutely makes you a leader in my eyes.
