Hey Eagle Families!

Our community is once again hoping to rally together and try to bring Kraft Hockeyville to Alvinston! The Brooke Alvinston Inwood Community Center Complex Could win $250 000 for improvements and host an NHL Game Takes only minutes to tell the Nation how much we love our Community Center.

To Refresh Everyones Memory,

The competition beings with the nominate and rally phase, where you can take action on the website to earn points for your community. The judges will then review the nominations and tally the scores to decide who moves on to the top 4 finalists.
 
They could use everyone's support on the community rally page to upload stories and photos. The more stories and photos uploaded between now and March 2nd, the better chance the arena will move on. 

We need to drive home what the issues with our arena/community center are and that the money would keep our arena going and not end up as a swimming pit!

Alvinston Optimist Club
Optimist Club of Alvinston Districts started in 1978. We are a group of 65 strong. We help the youth of our community in many ways as possible (team sports, youth dances, literacy programs, HOBY, VIP programs and more). We have donated time and money towards such community improvement such as the library, playground equipment, baseball diamonds and a sports park. In the future, wish to add more community projects to that list. We are committed to our community and the youth within.
